I need christmas picture ideas! I'm only 3 months pregnant with twins, have 1.5 yr old, husband is deployed.?

I'm getting pictures done tomorrow and need some ideas! Need to incorporate everything besides maybe my husband being deployed, I can not dress my son in army gear, it's christmas pictures. Thanks for the help.

I need some help! My son (3.5 years old) loves dressing up (he is wearing his fireman costume as we speak), and accessories like hats and sunglasses, etc. I was thinking of making him a dress-up box for Christmas. Do any of you moms of boys have anything like this? I know they sell them for girls, I saw one at Walmart last night (princess dress-up box). I searched online and there are some companies that make dress-up boxes for boys (with fireman, policeman, knight, cowboy, etc costumes inside) but they are expensive and I would rather get or make costumes that I know my son would like. He is really into space/astronuts, airplanes/pilots, and just starting to get into superheros. But really he just likes accessories period. Anyone have any creative ideas that wouldn't break the bank? I'm NOT a crafty person lol!

What are some good gift ideas for little kids?

My nieces are so hard to shop for! Ana is 2, and she kinda just does her own thing and doesn't really play With toys. she does like dolls though, but those tend to run kinda expensive, and I don't have much.
Addie is 4, and she likes to read, so I was thinking maybe a book. She also like coloring.

Teaching your toddler how to get dressed by himself is an important lesson. The child learns many skills, including how to navigate sleeve holes, buttons, and even which shoe belongs on which foot. But, it also teaches him independence, and a sense of accomplishment that he got dressed by himself. The icing on the cake is the time that is freed up in your morning routine, not having to dress him yourself.

Part of this process involves allowing him to choose his own clothes. That’s not always easy. We had one little girl in our class who wore the same pink dress to school every day for two months. She insisted on wearing it because it was her favorite, and her mother chose not to fight that battle every morning. Eventually, her mother took her shopping and allowed her to pick out several new outfits. That at least expanded her repertoire.

If you want some control over what your child wears, you can offer her choices. Before she goes to bed at night, let her choose between two outfits that you have selected. Giving her the choice makes her feel more independent, and by doing it the night before, she can take her time in making the decision. But, if your daughter hates to wear dresses, having her choose between two different dresses will probably not fly. You must take her tastes into consideration, as well. As much as you might wish she’d wear a dress, the choices will need to be pants outfits.
